Peggy Marie Harrell, age 90.  She was born in Oklahoma Jan. 31, 1926 and left us to defend for ourselves, Sept. 10, 2017. Our sweet courageous mother has left this Earth to go on to her great reward. She treated this planet with Grace and Kindness. She was the oldest child of five and a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma. Her only remaining sibling is her sister Perilla Wilburn, of California. She planted many trees and Gardens all over the world. She painted many portraits of spectacular Beauty from other lands. She was in the Air Force stationed in Japan when she met her husband to be; Colonel Gerald Nixon Harrell. 

Thanks to their careers, their three daughters (Lee Russo of Connecticut, Jerri Roey of Jefferson, and Tracy Stowe of Covington) were able to grow up in different cultures. She also leaves behind three granddaughters, Autumn Embry, Regena Russo and Emma Buchheim. And then there are her great-grandchildren: Olivia, Bear, Kai and David whom all reside in Colorado. Not to forget sons-in-law: David Russo and John Stowe. Peggy had retired in Cochran, Georgia for many years and then moved to Social Circle for the past eight years. There is truly no love like a mother's love.  J.C.
