Mr. Paul Winston Kitchens, the beloved husband of Kay Kitchens and the son of Paul and Gladys Kitchens, was born on May 19, 1943, in Macon. He passed on Nov. 2, as a steadfast integrity keeper to Jehovah God. Memorial services will be held tomorrow, Nov. 10, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 13075 Ga. Highway 36, Covington.

He is survived by his loving wife Kay Kitchens; three children Terri, Kim and Scott Kitchens; three stepsons Wayne Boutwell and his wife Teresa, grandsons Bryce and Reid, of Oxford; Stephen Boutwell and his wife Pam, grandsons Tyler and Trevor, of Hamilton; and Daniel Boutwell, of Covington; brother W. L. Kitchens of Chattanooga, Tenn.; sister Linda Tomlinson of Illinois.

Kitchens was a retired maintenance supervisor with Equity Residential. He loved nature and he and Kay had traveled quite often to just go "exploring." He also enjoyed fishing, playing the steel guitar, NASCAR racing and restoring old vehicles.

Being very quick-witted, Kitchens loved to laugh and appreciated a good sense of humor. He especially enjoyed working on projects with his grandsons, watching them play ball, or just spending time with them. His passion was talking to people about Jehovah God and the wonderful hope of everlasting life in paradise on earth.

We anxiously await the day Jesus wakes Paul up from his sleep and we can rejoice in welcoming him back.
