Mrs. Patsy Stapp Parker, 72, of Tega Cay, South Carolina, died Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church. The memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jordan Scott officiating.

Born in Porterdale, Patsy was a daughter of the late Harvey and Ruth Mae Taylor Stapp. She graduated from Newton High School in Covington, in 1963 and later attended Moore’s School of Interior Design in Franklin, Tenn. She was the office manager for Thomas Industrial Bearings in Fort Mill and an active member of Lake Wylie Lutheran Church. Patsy was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Service Sorority which helps St Jude Children’s Research Hospital and former member of the Tega Cay Lioness Club.

Surviving are her husband of almost 50 years, Charles Edward Parker; her sister, Shirley Skinner of Covington; her brother, James Lee Stapp of Conyers; and several nieces and nephews.
