Patricia Garmon, of Covington, died March 5, 2009, at Abbey Hospice, at the age of 71. Daughter of the late Frank and Lelia Capps Brown, she was retired from Kroger and was a member of Rutledge Baptist Church. Mrs. Garmon enjoyed watching TV, shopping and going to the mountains. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Garmon, Sr. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Michael Howell of Social Circle; son, Gene Garmon, Jr. of Covington; grandchildren, Chris Howell, Christina Kitzero, Katye Garmon, Corey Howell; brother, Jimmy Brown of Stone Mountain; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Garmon will be held Monday, March 9, 2:00 PM, at the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Rd, with interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Decatur. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., Sunday, March 8, from 6-8 PM.
