Steven Kyle Kirkpatrick, 41, of Covington, Georgia, passed away after a brief illness on December 8, 2025.  He is survived by his son, Joshua Shane Kirkpatrick; parents, Keith and Kim Costley Kirkpatrick; sister, Kameryn Kirkpatrick; brother, Bonner Kirkpatrick; nephew, Hoke Kirkpatrick, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Steve and Sue Costley, and Sonny and Sarah Kirkpatrick. 

Kyle was a lifelong resident of  Newton County and a 2002 graduate of Newton County High School.   Kyle loved his family and his greatest joy in life was being a Daddy to Shane and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs.  He had a natural ability to bring joy and laughter to everyone in his life.  A gifted singer who won many karaoke contests, Kyle was a constant source of comfort and celebration, whether filling a room with a melody or lifting spirits during quiet moments. Known for his quick wit and sharp humor, Kyle had a way of making others smile even in the most difficult times. Kyle will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all who cherished him. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
