Nadine White Long, 82, of Porterdale passed away Nov. 11, at Covington Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Long enjoyed sewing and reading. She was a member of Central Community Church in Covington and will be remembered as a devoted wife, aunt and friend to many. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her parents, Rupert Eugene and Ammerett (Butler) White.

Mrs. Long is survived by her husband of 56 years, Donald H. Long, of Covington; devoted family members, Jane Allen, Terrie Dickerson, Paul Autry, Robbie Autry, and Debbie Roberson; and other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Long were held at 4 p.m. Nov. 12 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Allen officiating. Interment followed in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Donations in memory of Mrs. Long may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, Ga. 30346.
