Bettye Tribble, of Oxford passed away August 4, 2012 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle, Georgia.  She was born March 23, 1923 in Monroe to the late Dr. and Mrs. E.L. Tribble.  Ms. Tribble was a loving and devoted mother, aunt and friend, she was also a longtime member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church.

Ms. Tribble is survived by her daughter Carol Tribble Hill of Alpharetta, her loving friends; Kay Gossage of Oxford, Jo Huson of Conyers and Martha Usry of Stapleton, along with her nephews; Bill and Bob Tribble, her great nieces; Kristi Conde, Lynn Ayers, Janice Smith, Jennifer Tribble, Camille Townsend, niece-in-law, Rosemary Tribble, great nephews; Mark Tribble, Doug Tribble, Cameron Tribble and Jack Tribble, along with numerous great great nieces and nephews.    

Funeral services for Ms. Tribble will be held at 2 O’clock, Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6PM until 8PM on Monday, August 6, 2012.  In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Abbey Hospice, 215 Azalea Court, Social Circle, GA 30025.  J.C.
