Mrs. Sara (Coady) King, 72, a lifelong resident of Covington died Feb. 23. The daughter of the late Huel and Lorene (Gunn) Coady, she was born in 1940 in Covington. She worked many years at Beaver Manufacturing as a winding operator. She was a member of County Line Baptist Church. She loved to sing in the choir, read and take care of her family. Mrs. King is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Harper and her parents.
She is survived by daughters and son-in-law Juanita and Ricky Dodd of Porterdale, Catherine Grizzle of Covington; sons and daughters-in-law Randy and Nancy Harper of Shady Dale, Lyn Harper of Social Circle, Leonard and Tina Harper of Covington and Jeremy King of Porterdale; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
