Mrs. Rheba Hart Oglesbee, 95, of Social Circle, passed away Feb. 12. The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Osier Hart, she was born in Abbeville, S.C., in 1916. Mrs. Oglesbee graduated from the University of Georgia in 1935 and taught home economics in the Social Circle City School System for 32 years. She loved gardening and floral arranging and was a founding member of the Gateway Garden Club. She had a great love for entertaining family and friends and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband William Roy Oglesbee; sisters Marie H. Herring, Jewell H. Eubank; brothers Leason C. Hart, Osier C. Hart; and nephew Leason C. Hart, Jr. Mrs. Oglesbee is survived by her niece and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces and -nephews. Mrs. Oglesbee was a member of Social Circle United Methodist Church.Funeral services for Mrs. Oglesbee were held at 2 p.m. Feb. 14 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road.
