Mrs. Nancy Jo Clark of Covington , GA died Tuesday January 25, 2011 at Rockdale Medical Center.  She was born on November 26, 1937 in Modesto, IL to the late Roy and Fern Newberry.  Mrs. Clark was a loving wife, mother and “Nana” to her family and was a member of Central Church of Christ in Covington.  She worked for many years at various jobs including a telephone operator and a teacher at The Ginger Bread House.  Mrs. Clark retired in 1994 and enjoyed many years being active in her church and enjoyed playing bridge.

Mrs. Clark is survived by Frank (Willie) Clark, her Husband of 55 years, Covington, Patty & Terry McWaters, daughter & son in-law, Snellville, Tracey Clark,daughter, Covington, Susan Clark, daughter, Covington, Charity McWaters, granddaughter, Snellville, Cristin McWaters, granddaughter, Snellville, Kasse & Loni Newberry, brother and sister in-law, Modesto, IL, Jane Calk, sister,  West Monroe, LA, several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by nephew, Robbie Newberry.

Funeral services for Mrs. Clark will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Chapel of Harwell-Wheeler Funeral Home with Pastor Claude Haynes officiating with entombment at New Covington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM.
