Mrs. Margaret Blomberg, age 92, of Conyers formerly of Stone Mountain passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014.  She was born July 22, 1921 in Glasgow, Scotland to the late Ebenezer and Margaret Barrie Bauchop.  Mrs. Blomberg retired at age 72 from Bank of America.  After her retirement she worked for ten years as the church secretary at Prospect United Methodist where she was also a member.  Mrs. Blomberg attended church with her daughters at both First Baptist Church of Conyers and at The Church at Covington.  She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Blomberg and her son Bob Blomberg.

Mrs. Blomberg is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ron and Jan Blomberg of Oxford her daughters and sons-in-law Debbie and Jerry Harris of Oxford and Lois and Tony Gray of Conyers and her daughter-in-law Jeff Blomberg of Covington.  She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild along with many other family and close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Blomberg will be held at 2 o’clock Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Dr. Jim Martin officiating.  The interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm on Saturday, January 11, 2014.  J.C.
