Mrs. Lucille Hall, age 91, of Monroe passed away September 10, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.  Born January 18, 1922 in Section, Alabama to the late Wiley and Mary Rooks Stewart, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.  Mrs. Hall enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.  She loved spending time with her family; she was of the Baptist faith and a member at Youth Baptist Church.  Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Hall, her son Edwin Thomas Hall, her daughter Linda Ann Golden and her grandson Bryan Cotner.

 

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law; Shirley and Thomas Welch of Franklin, NC, Brenda Cotner of Monroe, GA and Irene and Ralph Queen of Social Circle.  She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Hall will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Durden officiating.  Interment will be at Youth Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 12, 2013.  J.C.
