Jayne Satterfield, 78 of Covington, passed away Wednesday, July 16 at Abbey Hospice. Jayne was born on February 23, 1936 to Charner and Frieda (Seddon) Peacock in Atlanta. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Satterfield was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Orlin R. Satterfield in 2013 and her parents.

She is survived by her children; son Barney Satterfield, daughter Reneé Durden, son Mitchell Satterfield and daughter Lesli Satterfield; grandchildren Andrew Durden, Katie Durden Patterson, Ryan Palmer and Jesi Davenportp; great-grandchildren Willow Palmer and Sydney Patterson; and sister Connie Peacock Smith.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Georgia National Cemetery 1080 Veterans Cemetery Road, Canton, GA 30114 at 12:30 p.m. with Elder Paul Brown officiating.
