Dollar Mrs. Ila Berry Dollar, 79 of Covington died June 11, 2010 at Newton Medical Center. Mrs. Dollar was born in Covington to the late Grady and Katherine Ellis Berry. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Covington. Mrs. Dollar taught school for over 35 years before retiring from the Newton County School System. After retirement she taught pre-school at Kiddie Kastle where her students were her “babies”. She loved teaching and telling jokes. She was a loyal friend, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her two grandchildren Katie and Russell and was very proud of both of them. Her husband Russell Dollar preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons and daughter in law David Dollar of Atlanta and Jeff and Sherry Dollar; grandchildren Katie and Russell Dollar, all of Covington. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Harwell-Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Louly Hay officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to American Heart Association, P. O.
