Mrs. Helen June McClam, 82 of Covington, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Abbey Hospice. Mrs. McClam was born on September 26, 1931 in Atlanta, GA to Carter and Dell Hughes. Mrs. McClam is preceded in death by her parents, her son Warren Eugene McClam and close friend Bettye Brown.

She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years C. A. (Mac) McClam of Covington.; daughters Linda (Gary) Franklin of Conyers, Sandy Cudlipp of Covington and Diane (Ruben) Morgan of Covington; Grandchildren Michelle (Steve) Johnson, Kim (Stacey) Chancey, Kristi (Ike) Mitchell, Jennifer (Jesse) Thompson, R.J. (Mandy) Morgan, Chris Morgan; 12 Great-Grandchildren Taylor, Torie, Chase, Ansley, Garrett, Gracie, Landon, Brody, Emorye, Tyler, Kyle and Alyxis; sister Betty Holbrook; brother James (Barbara) Hughes and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. McClam will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Reese Sanders officiating.
