Mrs. Emily Anglin, age 80, of Covington passed away February 21, 2013. She was born June 27, 1932 in Atlanta, Georgia. Mrs. Anglin was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was an amazing cook and especially enjoyed baking “Granny’s” seven layer chocolate cake for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Louise Moore and her brother Donald Moore.
Mrs. Anglin is survived by her husband, Harvey Anglin; son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Kathy Anglin; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Bob Daniel, all of Covington; grandchildren, John and Robin Anglin, Chris and Brandy Anglin, Brandon and Sara Daniel, Dustin Daniel; great-grandchildren, Talon Anglin, Katelyn Anglin, Ava Anglin, Cameron Anglin; along with other family and friends.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Anglin will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2013, 1:30 pm, in the Chapel of J. C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Daniel officiating and interment in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Atlanta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. J.C.
