JOHNSON

Elizabeth F. Johnson age 65 of Covington, GA died Monday, January 3, 2011 at Newton Medical Center.  She was born on September 4, 1945 in Warner Robbins, GA to Henry H. and Glennie P. (Padgett) Fitzpatrick. She loved to travel, expert on states, state capitals and presidents of the United States, avid reader and also loved to do needlepoint and jigsaw puzzles.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of more than 27 years: Paul M. Johnson; brother and sister-in-law: Henry H. and Gayle Fitzpatrick of Windemere FL; niece: Beth Fitzpatrick of Winter Garden FL; brother-in-law: Jeff Johnson of Clarkesville, GA;  cousins: Lloyd and Connie Lundberg of Alcester, SD, Trish Lasley of Alexandria, SD and Jill Frick of Canton, SD. She is preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Glennie Fitzpatrick.

Services will be held at11:00AM on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Covington with Rev. Jason Dees and Rev. Len Strozier officiating.  Interment will be at Covington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 6:00PM-8:00PM.
