JOHNSON Dorothy Louise (Wheeler) Johnson of Covington, GA died Thursday January 7, 2010 at Atlanta Medical Center. She was born on September 4, 1926 in Porterdale, GA to the late Walter and Ruth (Parker) Wheeler. Mrs. Johnson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Conyers. She enjoyed growing and sharing her Angel Trumpets. She enjoyed her family and her church family. Mrs. Johnson is survived by daughter and son-in-law: Sandra and Jerry Bunn, sons and daughters-in-law: Ronnie and Gail Johnson, Gary and Betty Johnson, son: Terry Johnson all of Covington; sisters: Modine Moore and Joyce Rowe; grandchildren: Jeremy and Amanda Bunn, Rhonda and Rod Cronan, Kristie and Buddy McCowan, Misty and Jeff Devore, Tonia and Derrick Middlebrooks, Pam and Wayne Deerman, Rod Johnson, Adam and Misty Johnson, April Johnson, Wayne Lawson; and numerous great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband: Gene Johnson, grandson: Franklin Bunn, sister: Margaret "Bootie" Walden, brothers: Walter Wheeler Jr., Clifford Wheeler and Jimmy Wheeler. Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 9, 2010 in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Tracy Puckett and Rev. Jimmy Hammond officiating. Interment will be at Honey Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 8, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
