EDWARDS

Mrs. Dawn Edwards age 48 a lifelong resident of Covington died Monday, April 27, 2009. She was born in Newton County on July 18, 1960 to the late Hugh and Lois (Burney) Edwards. She worked 8 ½ years for Motion Industries, currently as the warehouse manager. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church and loved Nascar racing.

Mrs. Edwards is survived by son: Keith Bullard of Covington; daughter: Kim Carter of Covington; grandchildren: Jorden Bullard, Justin Jepson and Devin Bullard; sisters: Gail Owens and Huanne Edwards Bridges both of Covington; brothers: Gary Fincher of Covington and Dana Edwards of Stockbridge; numerous other family and close friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 6-8PM. The funeral service for Mrs. Edwards will be 11:00AM, Friday, May 1, 2009 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Franklin officiating. Interment will be in Lawnwood Memorial Park.
