Obituary
Mrs. Betty Louise Johnson Baines "Bet" was born on June 27, 1947, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Earnest (Lizzie) Johnson. Bet passed away on Friday, November 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Frankie Joe Johnson and Mr. Stanley Johnson; one sister, Minister Sandra Diane Mcfarlin.
"Bet" worked for the Bio-Lab Company in Conyers, Georgia for twenty-eight years. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her. She had her own unique way of letting her grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, and nephews feel that they were all very special to her.
"Bet" loved herself some fried Chicken legs, and Chicken livers, no matter who cooked them; they just needed to be good and crispy but not burnt. She also loved spending quality time with her family, no occasion necessary. She was always saying, "Love each other now, because tomorrow isn't promised!" Bet lived by those words everyday and expected all those around her to do the same.
She leaves to cherish her warm, sweet memories, her husband, Mr. Larry Baines, her dear son, Mr. & Mrs. Tony (Josephine) Johnson, two step-sons, Mr. Larry O. Baines and Mr. Rodney L. Baines, one step-daughter, Ms. Percilla Ann Heard, seven grandchildren, Mr. & Mrs. Mario (LaShansey) Johnson, Brandon Cobb, Cordarius Belcher, Taquanwanna Johnson, Joestone Johnson, six great-grandchildren, Anijah, Jaquayvion, Shaniya, Lyrik, Cameron, Amajaye, Tony and Mike, four brothers; Mr. & Mrs. Earnest Johnson Jr., Mr. & Mrs. Anthony Johnson, Mr. & Mrs. Allon Johnson, Mr. & Mrs. Randy (Eloise Woods) Johnson, six sisters; Mrs. Doris Seda, New Jersey, Mrs. Clara Cooksey, Mr. & Mrs. Ita (Brenda) Ekarika, Ms. Crystal Johnson, and Ms. Carlotta Johnson, all of Conyers, Georgia, Mr. & Mrs. Cary (Vanessa) Gaither, two special cousins that were like her sisters, Mrs. Sheraldene Taylor and Mrs. Sally Mae Henderson, one uncle and aunt, Mr. & Mrs. Richard (Polly) Johnson Jr., one special friend, Ms. Emma Russ and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
