ColeMrs. Barbara Cutler Cole age 74 of Covington died Thursday, September 24, 2009. She was born in Fulton County on February 22, 1935, she grew up in the Brookhaven area of Atlanta where she graduated from Chamblee High School. She lived the majority of her life in the Atlanta area and returned here ten years ago from Bear, Delaware. Mrs. Cole was a member of Gateway Community Church. She was active at the senior center in Covington and was a volunteer at Gateway Community Church.Mrs. Cole is preceded in death by her daughter: Sandra Payne. She is survived by her loving husband: Frank Cole of Covington; daughter and son-in-law: Lynn and Rob Brown of Oxford; sons and daughters-in-law: Randy and Lisa Gardner of Dacula, Ken and Paula Gardner of Loganville; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild, several nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.Funeral services for Mrs. Cole will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, September 27, 2009 in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. John Pearrell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00PM until 6:00PM Saturday, September 26, 2009.
