Mrs. Amanda Banks Sellars, age 82, of Mansfield passed away February 10, 2012. She was born in Monticello, Georgia on May 8, 1929 to the late Holland and Lurline Henderson Banks. Mrs. Sellars loved flowers and working in her yard, she was a member of New Rocky Creek Baptist Church and worked at Belk's, Ace Hardware Distribution Center in Conyers and at Blackwell's Grocery. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and Friend.
Mrs. Sellars is survived by her Sons and their Spouses; Dennis Digby of Nashville, Tim and Jeannine Digby of Covington and Kirt and Elaine Digby also of Covington along with 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by two Brothers and Sisters-in-law; Wilson and Elsie Banks and Douglas and Linda Banks all of Mansfield and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sellars will be held at 2 O'clock, Sunday, February 12, 2012 at New Rocky Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Reese officiating. Interment will be at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home from 4pm until 6pm on Saturday, February 11, 2012. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mrs. Sellars church New Rocky Creek Baptist Church, 190 Rocky Creek Road, Mansfield, GA 30055. J.C.
