Obituary
On July 18, 1955, Mrs. Margaret Reed Hurst and the late Mr. Robert James Hurst were blessed with the birth of a beautiful son whom they named Robert Lee Hurst, Jr. Robert was the second child of eight.
Robert loved his family, his mother, Margaret, was his best friend. Mama can do everything. Robert loved his church, West Street Community Baptist Church of Covington, GA., anytime the doors were open and work needed to be completed, Robert would easily agree to be there. He loved people and was loved in return. Robert can be best described as a very hard worker, adorable, kind- hearted and loving young man.
He was born in Covington, GA.; he was the proud father of one daughter, Erica Hurst, god-father of Ms. Tracy Farmer, Ms. Toneshia England, Ms. Shambriell Marks, Ms. Armony Farmer, Ms. Meony Farmer and Ms. Shaquasia Farmer.
On May 27, 2015, Robert departed this earthly life from our lives, but not from our hearts. He was preceded in death by father, Mr. Robert James "Dook" Hurst and a devoted friend Mr. Cleo Arnold.
He leaves to cherish his memories, mother, Mrs. Margaret Reed Hurst, daughter, Ms. Erica Hurst, sisters, Mr. & Mrs. Willie (Mary) Goolsby, Ms. Janice Hurst and Mr. & Mrs. Harold (Sandra) Cooper, brothers, Mr. James Hurst, Mr. & Mrs. Curtis (Darlene) Hurst, Mr. & Mrs. Ronnie (Cynthia) Hurst and Mr. & Mrs. Donnie (Giselle) Hurst, aunts, Mrs. Sara Hardeman, Mrs. Minnie Kate Austin and Mrs. Mary Hammonds, uncles, Bishop & Mrs. Mencer (Grace) Reed, Mr. & Mrs. LeRoy (Joann) Reed and Mr. & Mrs. Thomas (Grace) Reed, a special nephew and niece, Mr. & Mrs. Darrin (Patricia) Price, a devoted friend, Ms. Delilah Wells, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends all of Covington, GA.
