Obituary      

  Mr. Michael Smith was born June 25, 1971 to Mr. Willie N. Smith and the late Mrs. Mable Hardeman Smith in Newton County. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Cynthia and Kristy Smith and special niece Chyna Smith.

       Mike was educated in the Newton County school System, he was a great employee at Pizza Hut in Covington, Georgia where he was employed for many years. Mike was a giving person with a good heart, he was quiet and always looked out for his nieces and nephews.

       Mike departed this earthly life on May 12, 2013.

       He leaves to cherish his memory, father, Mr. Willie N. Smith, six sisters, Mrs. Wynell Tuggle, Ms. Rachel Abrams, Ms. Janice Smith, Mr. & Mrs. Terry (Connie) Sawyers, Ms. Sandra Smith and Ms. Kathy Smith, three brothers, Mr. Bobby Hardeman, Mr. Willie R. Smith and Mr. Stanley Smith, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
