Howard Everett (Sonny) Coady of Covington, GA died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at his residence. He was born on May 10, 1937 in Porterdale, GA to the late Everett and Bertha Kitchens Coady. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Coady is survived by his wife: Jordye Hammonds Coady; son: Stacey Coady; sisters: Geraldine Smallwood and Mary Lee Brooks, all of Covington; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister: Frances Lindsey. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 in the Chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Hammonds and Dr. Scott Caudill officiating. Interment will be at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery.
