Obituary
Mr. George Strong, Jr. was born on May 27, 1948 in Covington, Georgia to the late Mr. George Strong, Sr. and Mrs. Darlene Strong. He attended R. L. Cousins High School. He departed this life on the evening of February 3, 2014.
George was employed at Austex Foods in Conyers, Georgia for many years. He also worked for numerous car dealerships, including Sandy Springs Toyota, and Ginn Motor Company in Covington, Georgia.
Fondly known as "Gorgeous George," he enjoyed dancing, wearing jewelry, and dressing to the max. George was an avid gardener and enjoyed working outside. He also loved "talking trash" and having a good time with his family and friends.
George was preceded in death by his father, Mr. George Strong, Sr., and his brother, Mr. Garfield Stephens.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one loving daughter, Ms. Natalie Strong Jackson, a devoted mother, Mrs. Darlene Strong, one step son, Mr. Julio S. Strong, five brothers; Mr. Ralph Strong, Mr. & Mrs. Johnny (Gloria) Strong, Mr. Willie Strong, Mr. Robert Strong and Mr. & Mrs. Melvin (Judy) Woods, two sisters, Ms. Mary McGordon and Ms. Diane Strong, one grandson, Tristan Strong, a caring nephew, Mr. Gerald Strong, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
