Mr. Albert Cox, age 77 of Covington died March 17, 2011 at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle.  Mr. Cox was born August 3, 1933 in Englewood, Tennessee to the late John Franklin and Grady Rachel Casteel Cox.  He was a long time member of Cornish Mountain Baptist Church and was employed with Alternative Industries in Covington.  Mr. Cox was a resident of Riverside Nursing Home where he greeted many visitors and friends over the past 8 years.  Mr. Cox enjoyed yard work, helping others and staying in touch with and visiting friends and family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sweetheart Mary Jane McGiboney and six siblings; Ida Mae Goss, Joe Cox, Jim Cox, Ruby Casteel, Minnie King and Luther Cox and  is survived by a large number of nieces and nephews both in Georgia and Tennessee.
