       Mr. Adrian Ricardo "Boot" Brooks was born on August 1, 1978 to the proud parents of Mr. Rickie Brooks and Ms. Gwendolyn "Cookie" Lester. He grew up in Newton County where he attended school. "Adrian" was nicknamed "Boot".  He did not meet any strangers, he made many friends throughout his life, his smile, you will miss and he was a very lovely child.

      "Adrian" loved to cut hair, play basketball and football. "Boot" was known for having a lot of love for dogs and people.

     On Thursday, July 3, 2014 his earthly life ended.

     He leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Mr. & Mrs. Rickie (Delois) Brooks, his mother, Ms. Gwendolyn "Cookie" Lester, daughter, Imani Bashir, son, Zarie King, four step-sisters, Ms. Tanesha Lester, Ms. Jalessa Lester, Mr. & Mrs. Markus (Iandra) Harris and Mr. & Mrs. Cedric (Clarissa) Harris, one step-brother, Mr. Anthony Cooper, grandmothers, Ms. Mattie Brooks and Ms. Ethelene Lester, a devoted friend, Ms. Ebony Etheridge, a host of aunts, great aunts, uncles, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of other relatives and friends.
