Obituary                 

On June 10, 1928 Cora Elizabeth Darty gave birth to  Nellie Ruth Darty. Nellie went to school in Newton County. She joined Pleasant View Baptist Church at an early age, where she served as the Senior Mother Board until her health declined.Ma married the late Mr. Willie Frank Perry and to their union, nine children were born. Four proceded her in death, Aubrey, Lena Mae, Larry and Mammie Clyde, and one grandson Demario. "Ma" loved to work in her flower beds and gardening until her health declined. She leaves to cherish her memories; five daughters Mr. & Mrs. Curtis Henry (Mary Alice) Kelly, Ms. Mildred P. Smith, Ms. Helen V. Perry , Ms. Shirley R. Perry and Ms. Pearline Perry,  two sisters, Mr. & Mrs. Nathaniel (Helen) Lewis, Mr. & Mrs. Roy (Mary) Loyal. one daughter-in-law, Ms. Cathlene Perry,  Seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, twenty-nine great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
