Mr. Monty Kite, 53, of Covington died July 28 at Emory Hospital in Atlanta. He was born January 26, 1959, in Newton County. Mr. Kite was the son of Roy Lee Kite and is survived by his mother Clara Kite, son Rodney Kite, daughter Misty Kite, brothers Wade Kite and Wes Kite and sister Lisa Miller, all of Covington. Mr. Kite has three grandchildren and several aunts and uncles.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, at Factory Shoals Park.
