Mildred Louise (Garner) Adams, of Covington, died February 26, 2010, at Hospice Atlanta, at the age of 79. Daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Daisy Hall Garner, she enjoyed her family, her flowers and enjoyed going to Casinos. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Adams Sr., daughter, Linda Sue Adams Littleton, and sister, Frances Henry. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley Yvonne and Steven Adams of Lula, Miranda Gale (Rindy) and Andrew C. Faust of Woodstock; son and daughter-in-law, Carl Edward, Jr. and Angela Dale Adams of Covington; grandchildren, Penny Mayo Stevens, James Keith Mayo, Lisa Mayo Mullins, Stephania Hudson Ward, Randall Lee Hodges, Jeremy Scott Adams, Jessica Brooke Adams, Jason Andrew Faust; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Francine Smallwood of Porterdale; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Kathy Garner of Covington, B. F. and Mary Garner of Rutledge, Douglas and Carol Garner of Covington. A Graveside Service for Mrs. Adams will be held on Sunday, February 28, 3:00 PM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, Covington, with Pastor Darrell Allen officiating.
