   On Tuesday, September 15, 2015 the Lord Whispered her name and led Mrs. Mildred K. Smith to her Eternal Rest. "Mildred " was born on February 27, 1921 in Jasper County, Georgia to the late Mr. & Mrs. Sam (Ina Smith) Key.

     She attended Jasper County Public Schools. She joined Rock Spring Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully until God called her home.

      She was employed as a Cosmetologist for many years and retired in 1979. She was a strong, honest, dependable, straight forward, loving person. She devoted her life to serving God and helping others. Her counsel, wisdom and caring attitude will always be cherished.

     Her husband, Mr. Alfonso Smith  and daughter, Ms. Annette L. Wyatt preceded her in death.

      She leaves to cherish her memories, four grandchildren; CAPT James Wyatt, USN (Renee), Rodney Wyatt, Tekyo Wyatt Adams, Ronnie Wyatt, (Marsha); Fourteen great grandchildren, Christopher Wyatt (Kristin), Teresa Lopez (Manuel) Brittany Wyatt,  Andre Adams (Morgan) Tariq Halcromb, Stephanie Wyatt, Meagon Whitehead, (Jerry)  Ronnie Wyatt, II, Kimberly Wyatt, Briana Davis, Frederick Broaddus,  Alexis Wyatt  Karen Wyatt and  Davin Wyatt; six great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
