Mrs. Mildred Beier, age 86, of Social Circle passed away November 24, 2014 in Newberry, South Carolina. She was born November 3, 1928 in Newborn, Georgia to the late Clarence Brooks and Annie May Fouts Brooks Adams. Mrs. Beier was a homemaker and was of the Lutheran faith. She was a member of the Newton Hay Riders and enjoyed square dancing. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Beier, her brother Randall Brooks and her son-in-law Paul Draeger.

Mrs. Beier is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Cindy Beier Draeger, Carol Beier Potter and Danny Potter; grandchildren, Jessica Draeger Chapman and Tony Chapman, Brandon Draeger; great grandson Henry Paul Chapman; brother, James Brooks; sisters, Hazel Tudor and Jane Davis; other nieces, nephews and close friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Beier will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Reverend Margaret Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Carmel Cemetery in Mansfield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
