Martha Anne Tucker of Covington, went home to be with the Lord, July 2, 2010, at the age of 74. Mrs. Tucker was a member of Newton Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, writing, and created beautiful crocheted pieces. She loved to sing, and passed this love on to her children. Mrs. Tucker was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert “Jim” and Rosie (Johnson) Mills. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Curtis D. Tucker of Covington; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and John Chamberlin of Cynthiana, KY, Morgan and Jon Carnes of Sherwood, AR, Holly and Tom McCullough of Monticello, Lila and Billy Crawford of Oxford; brother, Tony Mills of Covington; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Tucker will be held Monday, July 5, 2010, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd., with Pastor Doug Parham and Pastor John Chamberlin officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday, from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM.
