Mrs. Lora Pittman 90, of Eatonton passed away on May 17. She was born in Covington Feb. 11, 1923 to Zack and Ethel Elliot Patterson.
She was a graduate of Porterdale High School. On Oct. 10, 1953, she married Quentin Pittman; they have lived in Eatonton for 21 years. Mrs. Pittman was a member of First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, Phoenix Homemakers, National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees, Robinson-Dance Sunday School.
Mrs. Pittman is survived by her husband Quentin Pittman; son Phil Pittman and wife Debbie; sister Macel Lindsey; granddaughters Victoria Lora Pittman and Ryann Alexandria Pittman; sister-in-law Mozelle Green of Decatur.
Visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel today, May 19, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. The services will be held at First United Methodist Church in the Historic Sanctuary, tomorrow, May 20 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Lawnwood Cemetery in Covington at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Junior Youth Fellowship at First United Methodist Church.
