Mrs. Lee Bowden, 73, of Conyers, died Oct. 4. The daughter of the late Charlie and Rebecca Houston, she was born in 1935 in Letcher County, Ky. Mrs. Bowden moved to Conyers 33 years ago from Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Smyrna Presbyterian Church and the Bible Fellowship. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are husband of 45 years John T. Bowden; daughter Laura Bowden McNulty of Conyers; son and daughter-in-law Charles and Michele Bowden of Valdosta; grandchildren Claire Houston McNulty, Amanda Catherine Bowden, Rebecca Rachel Bowden; brother and sister-in-law William and Nancy Houston; sister Jackie Hollan; brother Charles Houston.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 12, at 3 p.m. from Smyrna Presbyterian Church, Conyers, with the Rev. Jack Westlund officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Smyrna Presbyterian Church or to the Salvation Army.
