Kay Griswell age 55 of Covington died Wednesday, November 18, 2009. She was born February 21, 1954 in Harriman Tennessee to Obie and Katherine (Shawl) Brewer. She was a member of High Point Baptist Church and she worked at Newton Medical Center for 27 years and for FMC Dialysis for 8 years. She was a loving mother, daughter, grandmother and sister.Ms. Griswell is survived by her parents Obie and Katherine Brewer of Covington; daughter: Christy Banks of Covington; sister and brother-in-law: Lynda and Mike Carter of Covington; brother and sister-in-law: John and Marsha Brewer of Jacksonville Florida; grandchild: Peyton Banks; nephews: Alan and Suzanne Carter, Jeffrey Brewer; nieces: Amy and Jason Parker, Jennifer and Corey Bridwell; several great nieces and nephews other family and friends.The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 20, 2009 from 6:30-8:30PM. The funeral service for Ms. Griswell will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, November 21, 2009 in the chapel of Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Hiens officiating.
