Julia Kathryn Jones, 89, of Social Circle, died on Aug. 5.

She was born in Monroe on July 9, 1922 to the late W.H. Haralson and the late Minnie Durden Haralson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thad Wilson Jones.

Surviving are sons and daughters-In-Law, Billy Wayne and Dianne Kent of Covington, Tim and Cindy Jones of Woodstock; sisters, Sara Studdard of Monroe, Peggy Anthony of Sandersville; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
