Mr. Joseph Pervines McCord III, 74, of Covington, passed away April 6. He loved his family and grandchildren, dearly, and enjoyed going on family vacations. He also loved his Harley and enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Pervines McCord II and Pansye Wilson McCord; stepdaughter Cindy Lynn Bunn; stepson Daniel George Wishner; sister Barbara Gibbs.

Survivors include his loving wife Rosalie Sandifer McCord of Covington; daughter Brenda McCord of Venice, Fla.; son Jody (Wanda) McCord, of Punta Gorda, Fla., Michael McCord of Venice, Fla., Rusty (Vicki) McCord of North Port, Fla.; stepsons Michael (Karen) Wishner of Marble Hill, Mo., Jeffrey Wishner of Covington; 20 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Ann Young of Punta Gorda, Fla., Patricia ("Babe") Dalton of Nokomis, Fla.; brother Michael (Sharon) McCord Sr. of Nokomis, Fla.

A memorial service for Mr. McCord will be held at a later date.
