Johnnie Regious Ozburn of Mansfield, passed away May 20, 2010, at the age of 85. Mr. Ozburn was owner and operator of Ozburn’s Cafeteria, in Lithonia and Conyers, for 24 years. He was a member of Sewell’s United Methodist Church, but also attended Centennial Baptist Church, in Rutledge. Mr. Ozburn enjoyed cooking, bowling, vegetable gardening, playing cards with his friends, and even enjoyed cutting his own firewood. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He met with both his brothers everyday at 2:00, to have coffee and cookies and to discuss “world affairs”. Mr. Ozburn was preceded in death by his first wife, Roselle (Few) Ozburn; and his parents, Albert and Mary Lou (Leach) Ozburn. Survivors include his wife, Pat Mullins-Ozburn of Mansfield; son and daughter-in-law, Phil and Linda Ozburn; brothers and sister-in-law, Albert Jr., and Betty Ozburn, all of Newborn, Anthony Ozburn of Covington; grandchildren, Melanie and Brooks Williams of Milledgeville, Brian and Catherine Ozburn of Covington; great-grandchildren, Zachary Williams, Caleb Williams, Elizabeth Ozburn, Jared Ozburn; step-children, Frances and Wayne Garrison of Bostwick, Leslie and Karen Mullins of Madison, Darrell and Suzanne Mullins of Rutledge, Juanita and Greg Pendley of Bostwick, Jeffrey Mullins of Savannah, Melinda and J.A. Spivey of Augusta; 14 step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Ozburn will be held Sunday, May 23, 2010, at 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Rev. Wilburn Hill and Rev. Richard Harris officiating, and interment following in Carmel Cemetery, in Mansfield. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, May 22, from 5-8 PM.
