Mr. John M. Cook, age 63, of Covington passed away July 29, 2015.  He was born February 17, 1952 in Porterdale to the late John and Joyce Fincher Cook.  Mr. Cook worked for Harold’s Propane and started his career with Cawthon Brother’s Propane some 40 years ago.  He loved to ride his motorcycle and play his guitar.  Mr. Cook is survived by his wife, Carolyn Cook; his children, Chris and Hope Cook of Monticello, and Noelle & Anthony Johnson of Covington; his grandchildren, Bailey, Ashlyn, Catelaine, Heaven, Zac, Jaisiah and Lia along with his sister and brother-in-law, Marcia and Lanier Burford of Jenkinsburg.  He is also survived by other family and close friends.  Funeral services for Mr. Cook will at 11 o’clock, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7pm until 9pm on Friday, July 31, 2015.  Please omit flowers, those desiring may make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38148.  J.C.
