Jerry F. McKoon, of Augusta, died at his home, February 4, 2009, at the age of 71. Son of the late Fred Albert and Leona Davis McKoon, he was a self employed floor finisher and enjoyed watching TV, reading and in his younger years, enjoyed working on cars. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice McKoon. Survivors include daughters and son-in-law, Tammy Smith of Augusta, Connie and Leonard Burnett of Martinez; sons and daughter-in-law, Brice McKoon of Camilla, Freddy and Connie McKoon of Cheno Hills, CA; step-children, Pam Montgomery and Ronnie Montgomery of Covington; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Walter Lemke of Snellville; caregiver, Patricia Jennings of Augusta. Funeral services for Mr. McKoon will be held Saturday, February 7, 2:00 PM, at the chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Rd, with Rev.
