Mrs. Jean Miller, 83, of Covington, passed away April 3. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and enjoyed watching them play. Mrs. Miller loved spending time with her granddaughter and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Miller; father Walter Bell; mother Cordie (Smith) Bell; step-father Rhodie Bailey; sisters Emma Hawse, Erma Broughman, Beulah Martin; and brothers Averille Bell, Alvie Bell, Roy Bell and Berlin Bell.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Connie and Jack Fullerton; granddaughter Tara Pendleton and her husband David; great-grandchildren Elle Farmer, Olivia Farmer, Remi Farmer, Taitley Pendleton, Rhett Pendleton, Devin Pendleton, Brooklyn Pendleton, Luke Pendleton; brothers Denny Bell, Dalma Bailey; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service for Mrs. Miller will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 7, at the chapel of Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Dr. Robert Faulkner officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Covington, Virginia, at a later date.
