Janavia “Janae” Nesbitt, born August 15, 1998, passed away on November 14, 2015, at Children’s Hospital of Atlanta after a brief illness. She was a student at Heritage High School in Conyers and a resident at Elks Aidmore.

She is survived by her grandmother Ella B. Nesbitt; her biological mother Chanae Nesbitt Heard; and those she loved as sisters: Julia, Jasmine, and Shaquanna. She had been working very hard to complete all her graduation requirements so she could attend college next year.

In recognition of her hard work arrangements have been made to include Janae in the Heritage High 2016 graduation. She considered Elks her home and planned to return there whenever possible to visit caregivers and friends and to participate in helping other residents. She will be missed by everyone whose lives she touched. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:30 p.m. at New Springfield Baptist Church, 4300 Highway 15 South, Siloam, GA.
