Mr. James Stanley Moore Sr., 59, of Covington, passed away April 24. Moore was a dedicated employee, for 40 years, at SRG Global. He loved his family, and enjoyed running, playing drums, fishing, going to the beach, woodworking and being outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Inez (Harcrow) Moore, sister Audrey Barela and brother Dwight Rutledge.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law Christy and David Harrison of Covington; son James Stanley Moore Jr., of Covington; grandchildren Stanton Harrison, Rylan Moore, Weston Moore; fiancée Julie McCurry of Covington and her son Trevor McCurry; former wife Kathy Ray.

A memorial service for Mr. Moore will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at the Chapel of Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 to 6 p.m., tomorrow, April 27.
