On August 30, 1942, the late Mr. & Mrs. Louie (Claudia Lee) Wilson had a son they named James Lewis Wilson. For many years he worked for Yellow Freight Line, later retiring.

James entered eternal rest on July 4, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Brenda Wilson.

Left to cherish his memories, his children, Vincent and Sylvia Wilson, Chris and Gertrice Wilson, Charlotte Wilson, Chardonnay Wilson, Sherrie Wilson; grandchildren, Marquez and Jazmyn, Quartavious, Joel, Rajaris, Chris, Sherryce, Savannah, Shanteria, Siera, along with a host of other relative and friends. 

Funeral services were held at Early Hope Ministries, at 1129 Rocky Plains Road, in Covington, Saturday, July 8 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth Williams officiating.
