James (Jimmy) Nathaniel White, Jr., of Covington, passed away May 9, 2011, at the age of 50. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, billiards, and Nascar racing. Jimmy was an avid outdoorsman. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, James Nathaniel White, Sr.

Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Shanna Leigh White of Villa Rica, Victoria Jewel and Kenly Lowery of Pembroke, NC; sons, Jesse James White, Sr., of Covington, Joshua Lee White of Monticello; mother, Amenda Louise White of Social Circle; 2 grandsons, Triston Markell Johnson, Jesse James White, Jr.; granddaughter, Jorden Makya Lowery; sister and brother-in-law, Tina and Terry Kinzalow of Oxford; brothers and sisters-in-law, David White of Social Circle, Tracy and Leigh White, Stacey and Robyn White, all of Covington; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; many hunting and fishing buddies.

Funeral Services for Jimmy will be held Friday, May 13, 2011, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, with Rev. Danny Standard officiating. Interment will be held Friday, 4 PM (EST), at Friendship Baptist Cemetery, Boozers Lake Road, in Jacksonville, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, May 12, from 1-4 PM and 6-9 PM.
