Mr. James D. Fondren, III age 54 of Newborn passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in Conyers, GA.  He was born August 23, 1957 in O’ahu, Hawaii to the late James. D. Fondren Jr. and his mother Audrey Gardener Fondren who survives him.  Mr. Fondren was retired from the United States Postal Service and the owner of Third Base Sports Grill in Conyers.  He served his country in the United States Air Force and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. 

Mr. Fondren is survived by his wife Peggy Fondren and their children and their spouses; James D. IV and Mandy Fondren of Buford, Todd Fondren of Newborn and Stephanie and Josh Hutton of McDonough, GA along with 5 grandchildren Kain, Gavin and Dean Hutton and Isaac and Oliva Fondren.  He is also survived by his siblings; Mike and Denise Fondren of Covington, Curtis and Debbie Fondren of Hampton and his sister Debbie Davey of Jonesboro.

Memorial services for Mr. Fondren will be held at 2 O’clock Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the chapel of J.C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.  The family would like to invite those that can to join them following the service on Saturday at the Third Base Sports Grill 2174 Salem Road, Conyers, GA.  J.C.
