James Armistead of Lake City, Georgia, died July 1, 2010, at the age of 70. He is survived by his daughter, Misty Arisohn; sons, Craig Armistead and Russell Armistead, all of Canton; sisters and brothers, Russell Armistead of Social Circle, Betty Hinton of Marietta, Herman Harper of McDonough, Katherine Kirkus of Conyers, Billy Armistead of Monticello, Brenda Garner of Covington, Patricia Armistead and Gary Armistead, both of Loganville; one grandson; a host of nieces and nephews.
