James Allen Rowland, 24, passed away Jan. 3. He was born in Atlanta. He worked as an engraver for Tony’s Trophies in Suffolk, Va., and attended Southside Baptist Church. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Henry Allen Tatum; paternal grandparents, Brenda Sue Rowland and Jack Howard Rowland; and aunt, Deborah Lynn Tatum.

He is survived by his mother and her husband, Rebecca and Rick Strobel; father and his wife, Terry and Tammy Rowland; maternal grandmother Frances Jones Tatum; sisters and brothers, Nicole, Brent, Allie, Josh, Heidi, and Heather; aunt and uncle, Edward and Rose Tatum; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
